Protective against myelotoxicity
Study based on anthocyanin standards from Biolink Group, finds “Protective effect of anthocyanin-rich extract from bilberry against myelotoxicity induced by 5-fluorouracil".
The study concludes that: “These results sugest that anthocyanin rich extract may have protective potential against 5-FU-induced myelotoxicity and/or the ability to enhance the chemotherapeutic effectiveness of 5-FU. Eun Hye Choi et al, Biofactors 29 (2007) 55-65
